Lutron + AV Programmer, Residential Systems

Summary

Program and commission integrated residential systems in high-end private homes. This role spans lighting, AV control, networking, and whole-home system behavior across multiple platforms (Lutron, Savant, Sonos, Ruckus, and more).

• Program and commission integrated residential systems, including lighting control, AV control, networking, and automation platforms such as Lutron and Savant.
• Build racks, terminate wiring, and deliver clean, reliable systems.

• Travel is an essential function of this role.
• Projects are frequently located in Philadelphia, Manhattan, and surrounding areas.
• Overnight stays may be required depending on project schedule.
• Longer-distance travel may occur, including destinations such as Miami or the Bahamas.
• All business travel beyond a normal commute is fully covered by the company and includes an overnight travel bonus when applicable.

• 2+ years experience programming and installing residential AV systems in private homes.
• Experience programming AV control systems and residential networks.
• Ability to think holistically across lighting, AV, networking, and control.
• Strong wiring, rack building, and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and pride in system behavior.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to meet the travel requirements described above.

Competitive hourly pay based on experience, with higher rates for senior residential technicians, plus travel pay and incentives. This is an hourly, non-exempt role.
