We are currently seeking a Sheet Metal Foremanto join their growing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Clear knowledge and understanding of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning requirements and operations.
• Supervise and participate in the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems to ensure that the work performed is in compliance with blueprints, manufacturer specifications, and written and/or verbal instruction.
• Plan, schedule and assign work to ensure proper distribution of work, adequate staffing and space for efficient performance of duties with the Superintendent at each job site.
• Ability to identify costly deviations from the plans and bring them to the attention of the project manager.
  • Understand different types of systems and pressure classification.
• Order correct material and quantity to minimize returns.
• Ability to break jobs down into manageable installation pieces. Create a plan with the assistance of the superintendent and project manager.
• Ability to assist with laying the requirements of a change order for the project manager to write up.
• Keep accurate notes and changes on the drawings for as built construction documents.
  • Ability to work with other trades and communicate and coordinate conflicts.
  • Keep accurate daily reports.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of HVAC, troubleshooting, installing and running crews.
• Computer experience required. Ability to learn how to use a tablet and manage document files on a job such as; material list, RFI’s, change orders, and daily logs.
• Flexibility for travel and working OT, as required.
• Strong knowledge of applicable regulations and codes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
