The Corporate Security Manager position will develop and implement security programs and procedures, manage contract employees, and provide specialized security services for diverse operations including R&D, headquarters, and office environments.
Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities- Routinely interfaces with senior executives and their support staff.
- Oversee daily operations of contract security teams, ensuring execution of site security plans.
- Develop and implement security standards and guidelines to mitigate risks.
- Manages 24/7 site security operations, including CCTV and access control systems.
- Conduct investigations and recommend corrective actions for security breaches.
- Delivers security awareness presentations and training.
- Assists with FDA, DEA, CTPAT and FTZ regulatory compliance and provides security consultation.
- Acts as liaison to public safety agencies and coordinates readiness exercises with public safety agencies.
- Stays updated on security technology trends and recommends enhancements.
- Maintains access and video surveillance systems in a reliable state.
- Minimum education of a bachelor’s degree in law enforcement, criminal justice, security, loss prevention or related field is preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant security management experience, law enforcement, emergency management, or military is required.
- Ability to interpret technical materials and guidelines.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Expertise in large‑scale network access control systems.
- Proficient in using electrical drawings for security device plotting.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and analyze data.
- Effective communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments is a plus.
- Proficiency in common business software and communication applications.
- Takes initiative and ownership of their project portfolio with the ability to work independently.
Visits to hazardous areas and potential involvement in emergency situations. Standing, kneeling, and sitting for extended periods.
Work EnvironmentMostly office‑based with visits to internal client work areas.
TravelLimited travel required. Two to three times per year.
Compensation OverviewPrinceton – NJ – US: $103,190 – $125,042. The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full‑time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
