Associate Food Technologist, Savory, Taste Texture & Health

Princeton, NJ, US

Join our global flavors, fragrances, and ingredients organization to work on real business projects that support some of the world’s biggest brands. The Summer Internship Program runs from June 1, 2026 to August 14, 2026 and offers Monday‑Friday hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm). As an intern, you’ll gain exposure in multiple areas, network with peers and leadership, and build a strong professional foundation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Food Technologists in creating a wide range of finished food applications
  • Support execution of experiments to evaluate flavor performance
  • Participate in tasting and evaluation of flavors in application
  • Write reports to capture individual experiments
  • Help with preparation of samples for customers

You Bring
  • Currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Culinary program
  • Lab and/or culinary experience working safely with food products, ingredients, and related equipment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and related programs
  • Flexible working style: collaborative in a group setting and independent for project organization and accountability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hourly rate: $23.00 – $26.00 per hour, dependent on location, education, training, specific skills, and experience.

At the end of this internship, you will have gained technical knowledge, expanded your network, and advanced toward a career in Food Science.
