At our core, we help our industry clients innovate and develop new markets in the Lifesciences sectors, with a very impact‑oriented and grounded approach.

Building on this foundation, in 2024, Alcimed successfully launched Nautilus.ai, its Digital & AI activity dedicated to the design & development of function‑specific, bespoke, ethical, and secure digital & AI tools.

, we help Lifesciences industry players leverage data; harness and ethically apply state‑of‑the‑art digital and AI technologies to build solutions which serve, and foster human added value – thereby enhancing their positive impact on healthcare systems and patients.

After a successful launch, we are now looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate and ramp‑up of Nautilus.ai.

YOUR MISSIONS?

As a Nautilus Business Development Manager, your objective, alongside the Nautilus team, is to develop this activity into a strategic pillar of Alcimed within 3 years. You will be responsible for:

Developing a customer portfolio:
  • Foster our value proposition on the topics of AI, data, business tools, automation and digitalization.
  • Identify, prospect and qualify Nautilus opportunities with existing customers of Alcimed and new accounts.
  • Meet decision‑makers in key business functions of (Bio)
    Pharma and Medial Device companies (R&D, Medical, Marketing, Manufacturing, Digital, IT department, etc.).
  • Understand their needs and formulate tailor‑made commercial proposals (tools, POC, development projects, AI integration, etc.).
  • Build a solid pipeline and manage the complete sales cycle.
  • Manage the commercial relationship
  • Be the interface between customers and Nautilus team members (Solution Architect & Tech Lead, AI/ML engineers, Developers, etc.).
  • Ensure follow‑up of missions internally and satisfaction externally, to repeat business
Structuring and growing the BU:
  • Contribute to the evolution of the offer, commercial discourse and associated supports.
  • Help prioritize opportunities and structure business processes.
  • Implement the strategic vision of the BU and its medium‑term development.
  • Participate in recruitment
  • Evolve towards the management of the BU
YOUR PROFILE?
  • Education: Master’s (MSc., MPH, MA, MBA) or Doctorate degree (Pharm.

    D., M.D, Ph.D.) in a healthcare related field and/or business
  • 1-3 year proven and successful track record of selling high‑end customized digital services or solutions to Life Sciences industries clients (healthcare, biotech, medical device, etc.)
Know-how & Expertise/

Skills:
  • Customer service‑oriented
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Pugnacious and dynamic
  • Demonstrate a strong learning ability
  • Ability to quickly grasp clients’ needs to design the most suitable offer
  • Know how to prospect, understand needs, manage the negotiation and all other phases of sales pipeline
  • You have a taste for both innovation and sales
  • Curious and passionate about Data, AI and Digital transformation in the Healthcare industry
  • Result driven and ambitious team player, goal oriented, highly confident and self‑motivated, able to easily interact with C‑Level audience
  • You are familiar or trained on key Digital and AI concepts (e.g. LLMs, Agentic AI, RAG, Data structuration Python, Applied AI, Healthcare AI,etc.)
  • Qualities sought: surpassing – excellent interpersonal skills – ability to convince

Additional Information
  • Contract type:
    Full‑Time, On‑site based with regular traveling to clients (Tri‑state area)
