Overview

On-Demand:
Guest Advocate (Cashier), General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, Style (T1151). This role is an On-Demand Team Member (TM) with a flexible schedule and no guaranteed weekly postings. You will pick up shifts posted by leaders or teammates via the myTime app. Attendance and active engagement (picking up shifts at least once every 4 weeks and a minimum of 4 hours) are essential.

After offer, you will attend a Welcome orientation and undergo short-term training. The role focuses on delivering guest service, enabling store operations, and supporting various service channels including order pickup, drive-up, and registry.

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard and greeting guests as you complete tasks.
• Engage with guests to understand and solve their needs, using knowledge of store tools, products, and services.
• Be knowledgeable about all store offerings and direct guests to enroll, activate, or use relevant services (including Target Wallet, Target App features, loyalty programs, and fulfillment services).
• Assist with returns, follow register prompts, and partner with leaders to resolve issues while adhering to Target policies and procedures.
• Deliver easy and accurate service for Order Pick Up, Drive Up, and Registry guests; maintain a clean, organized work area; stock supplies during store hours.
• Support cash handling and cash office processes as needed; comply with safety and training policies; report hazards and correct where possible.
• De-escalate situations when necessary and maintain a compliant, guest-centric service environment.
• All other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Open to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times.
• Effective communication, a welcoming attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to operate handheld scanners and customer service technology; work independently or in a team.
