Overview
This position provides technical and analytical expertise in support of IDA's work requiring objective research, test, study, and analyses to various federal agencies. The position incumbent has no regularly scheduled hours and works on an as-needed basis.
Responsibilities- Able to work in an unstructured environment.
- Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem resolution.
- Works on more than one project concurrently.
- Able to present ideas, concepts and theories orally and in writing.
- Able to interact with Government or industry representatives.
- BS degree in a curriculum related to the mission of the assigned research division. Usually requires an advanced degree (PhD preferred).
- Generally requires five or more years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to obtain appropriate security clearances.
- Demonstrated ability to perform independent research. Proven ability to publish findings and present findings orally. Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Travel may be required.

While it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range, individual salary within this range will be commensurate with the incumbent's experience, unique skills and qualifications, and other relevant factors.
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is:
- Continuing Students: $22.50-$39.50
- Experienced Professional: $112,924-$263,335
U.S. Citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance is required
