• Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a per diem RN to work the night shift within Princeton House Behavioral Health (PHBH). This position is within Behavioral Health Float. The RN will be floated to multiple units.
• Our inpatient psychiatric services provide short-term stabilization and treatment for mental health disorders. We provide care in a secure calm environment where patients can focus on healing.

• Develops and maintains a plan of nursing care based on goals derived from identified needs; revises the patient’s individualized plan of care as indicated.
• Implements individualized nursing plan of care, consistent with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Evaluates and documents patient responses to nursing care, and participates in evaluating and improving the delivery of care on the unit.
• Demonstrates accuracy in entering medication orders on the computer and medication administration.
• Provides appropriate coordination of care and intervention to patients undergoing a psychiatric or medical emergency.

• The night shift is considered 11 pm - 7 am.
• Work a minimum of four shifts, including one weekend per 4‑week schedule (consecutive Saturday/Sunday).
• Two holidays per year (1 minor and 1 major).
• One difficult-to-staff day per year.

• Bachelor’s degree required, or in pursuit.
• A registered nurse with an Associate’s degree and greater than 5 years of clinical experience in a specialty may be considered.

• 15 months of RN experience required.
• Psychiatric experience preferred.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Active RN NJ license required.

Salary Range: $49.96 – $68.99 per hour. As part of their job offer, successful candidates are provided a specific rate, taking into consideration various factors including experience and education.
