Sun is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Outsourcing within its Clinical Outsourcing Team in Princeton, NJ. The Senior Manager, Clinical Outsourcing will report to the Sr. Director, Clinical Outsourcing. Under the direction of the Senior Director, the Senior Manager will lead and manage the clinical trial outsourcing, vendor selection and contract negotiation, vendor management, and reporting process for Sun Pharmaceutical’s clinical development programs.
This role will be instrumental in the management of external partnership outcomes for clinical trials, including coordination and management of service providers and other outsourcing needs.
- 35% Vendor selection and contract negotiation: guide project teams through the outsourcing process, give suggestions on best approach/practices, participate in evaluation, selection, and negotiation of contracts, develop RFPs, manage budgeting and cost‑saving considerations, develop and coordinate Statement of Work, negotiate work specifications and budgets, facilitate kick‑off and team meetings, support quality and timeliness, monitor vendor relationships and resolve issues, ensure communication, close out study/contract performance.
- 30% Support Outsourcing Team: locate and store Statements of Work and contracts, maintain consistent naming conventions, review CRO contracts, populate spend categories, liaise with project teams and vendors, search Contract Management System, create and update vendor contract trackers, analyze data, set up onboarding guidelines, develop templates, create cost‑saving Excel file, assist with budgeting models and FP&A needs.
- 10% Cross‑Functional Support: assist with budgeting models, FP&A needs, demonstrate expertise in forecasting, budgeting, data analytics, modeling, process improvement, collaborate with Clinical Operations, Cost Management, Finance and Procurement functions, manage CROs, laboratories and sites, maintain ethical standards, build relationships across all levels, communicate effectively with stakeholders, apply GCP and ICH principles, use Microsoft suite skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of effectively leading cross‑functional teams.

- BA or MS in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical outsourcing experience.
The anticipated base compensation pay range for this position is $121,500 to $174,000. Actual base compensation may vary based on geographical location and experience. The position is part of the Annual Performance Bonus Plan and may be eligible for a company vehicle and incentive bonus compensation.
