IT QA Tester / Automation, Systems Analyst
Akkodis is seeking an Automation Tester for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ
. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Java‑Selenium and TOSCA while performing SQL‑based validations and supporting end‑to‑end test automation.
$37/hour to $41/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Automation TesterJob Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java‑Selenium and TOSCA to validate functional and regression scenarios.
- Perform SQL‑based backend testing across SQL Server and Oracle databases to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Execute automation suites, analyze results, and log defects while collaborating with development teams for timely issue resolution.
- Enhance and optimize automation frameworks, ensuring scalability, reusability, and alignment with testing standards.
- Create and run Python or batch scripts to support test data setup, environment preparation, and automation workflows.
- Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to improving overall QA processes and test coverage.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in software testing with a strong focus on automation.
- Proven hands‑on expertise in Java‑Selenium and TOSCA, with experience developing and executing automated test suites.
- Strong proficiency in SQL Server/Oracle for backend testing, with additional capability in Python or batch scripting to support automation workflows.
