Job Description
The Business Analyst Intern will support the Center of Excellence (CoE) in documenting, standardizing, and improving core enterprise processes across Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Record-to-Report (R2R). The intern will contribute to process mapping sprints, SOP creation, master data workflows, KPI dashboards, meeting intelligence tooling, and rapid-prototyping efforts using Power BI and SAP BTP.
This role offers hands-on experience with enterprise process documentation, business analysis, data visualization, workflow design, and continuous improvement initiatives - ideal for students interested in business systems, operations, data analytics, or process engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document and map core enterprise processes (P2P, O2C, R2R), create SOPs and end-to-end workflows, and establish standardized diagramming and knowledge-management practices.
- Develop master data lifecycle documentation, validation checkpoints, RACIs, intake forms, and templates to support consistent data governance.
- Support CoE reporting by creating Q templates, KPI definitions, mock data models, and a multi-page Power BI dashboard prototype.
- Enhance meeting efficiency by standardizing notes, maintaining a decision log, and enabling automated distribution via Teams/SharePoint.
- Explore a stretch SAP BTP automation use case and build low-fidelity analytics prototypes to identify dashboard opportunities and future enhancements.
- Undergraduate student graduating in the next 12-18 months pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in or coursework related to the life sciences (biology, pharmaceutical sciences, healthcare, etc.).
- Ability to work with structured documentation, spreadsheets, and visual tools.
- Authorization to work in the United States for the duration of the internship.
- Can commit to full duration of internship program.

- Exposure to ERP concepts (SAP, Oracle, Workday, etc.).
- Familiarity with Kanban or Agile methodologies.
- Basic understanding of master data, data quality, or workflow principles.
- Intro-level experience with Power BI, Tableau, or data visualization tools.
- Experience creating diagrams in Lucidchart, Visio, or Figma.
- Basic exposure to APIs, automation tools, or light programming (useful for BTP stretch tasks).
