Senior Software Qa Automation Engineer, Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science with 5 years of experience;
Involve in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)-Requirement analysis (mapping conditions/user stories), Design, Development, Application testing & follow principles of Agile & Dev Ops methodologies;
Test across applications including functional, integration, regression/smoke/sanity, end to end & system testing;
Involve in Automation script / framework development & strategy using tools - Micro Focus UFT(VB), Selenium-Eclipse(Java)-TestNG, Test Complete, Egg Plant, API web testing through SOAP UI(JSON/XML), POSTMAN tools & code base maintenance;
Experience in VB scripting/development of excel macro utilities & manage through Jira projects;
Test application execution, engage in different test environments & use SQL queries to extract data records;
Work on Continuous Integration/Continuous deployment CI/CD tools (Atlassian Bit Bucket) to maintain automation scripts and built (Atlassian) Bamboo plans for automation suites;
Use defect/requirement/agile management Tools-Blueprint requirement center, Rally, Micro Focus ALM (Quality Center), Tricentis qTest, Atlassian Jira for project activities and report integration with Power BI/Query Surge tools & contribute on tool selection process;
Use Service Now to raise incidents for application/web service outages & create change requests for deploying code changes in different test environments to adhere process workflow;
Develop macro enabled VBA workbooks on various customization reports from Micro Focus ALM;
Administer tools such as Micro Focus ALM, UFT across projects workflow scripting, configuration & installation, extension of plugin support, virtual desktop management (VDI/RDP machines) on Citrix platform, data backup/clean up and recovery management (Archive/Purge);
Work on tools like Rational Integration Tester, Rational functional Tester, Requisite Pro and Load Runner.
