Summary

The Senior Director, Marketing AI Enablement Commercialization AI Strategy & Analytics (CASA) will be pivotal in advancing BMS's Rewire Marketing approach, championing the development and execution of a best-in-class, AI‑driven commercialization model. As the primary business owner and strategic connector, this leader will partner closely with IT to shape, drive, and implement the marketing capabilities and technologies needed to realize our AI Commercialization vision.

Reporting to the CASA VP, Marketing AI Capabilities and Experience, the role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen and digital expertise, enabling the translation of business needs into scalable, innovative IT solutions that fuel marketing transformation at BMS.

This individual will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end capability evolution – identifying opportunities, architecting solutions, and ensuring seamless integration with key business processes. Success in this role hinges on an ability to build strong cross‑functional relationships, influence stakeholders at every level, and balance commercial priorities with technical requirements to accelerate marketing performance and position BMS as a leader in data‑driven commercialization.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of 3 direct reports:
    Director, MLx Marketing, Director, Content Capabilities, and Associate Director MLR transformation.
  • Serve as the principal connector between commercial and IT organizations, translating business requirements into scalable digital solutions aligned with AI commercialization objectives.
  • Lead the ongoing development, refinement, and delivery of the Mosaic tech roadmap, ensuring innovative enhancements and expansion – including a Mosaic self‑service option for greater user efficiency and empowerment.
  • Oversee the implementation and evolution of the unified marketing platform, serving as the central portal for marketers to manage end‑to‑end daily activities and drive operational excellence.
  • Partner with IT and key stakeholders to deliver technology‑enabled transformation of the Medical, Legal, and Regulatory (MLR) review process, accelerating personalized content review and approval.
  • Drive the implementation and continuous improvement of SAMai, an AI‑powered platform designed to synthesize information and respond to strategic queries, enabling instant cross‑market sharing and insights for brand teams.
  • Champion the integration of advanced AI capabilities into marketing processes, identifying opportunities to enhance data‑driven decision making across global and local teams.
  • Develop and execute strategies for capability building, ensuring marketing and commercial teams are equipped to leverage new technologies for business impact.
  • Measure adoption and effectiveness of new platforms and technologies; refine delivery approaches based on real‑world feedback and performance analytics.
  • Foster an innovation‑driven culture, mentoring teams on the use of next‑generation marketing technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners to ensure alignment, seamless process integration, and ongoing support for marketing transformation initiatives.
