About the Role

As a Consulting Principal, Property & Casualty Insurance
, you will make an impact by leading complex business and technology transformation initiatives for P&C insurance clients, with a strong focus on core systems and claims transformation
. You will be a senior member of the Insurance Consulting practice
, working closely with clients, consulting teams, and cross-functional Cognizant stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes.

In This Role, You Will
  • Lead and advise Property & Casualty insurance clients on business strategy, operating model, and technology-enabled transformation
    , with emphasis on claims, underwriting, policy, and billing domains
  • Drive core system transformation engagements
    , including initiatives leveraging platforms such as Guidewire and Duck Creek
  • Facilitate executive-level client workshops, translate complex business and technical concepts, and align business and IT stakeholders around actionable solutions
  • Provide thought leadership by analyzing market trends, regulatory impacts, and industry best practices
    , converting insights into client-ready recommendations
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire consulting teams while proactively identifying engagement risks and driving mitigation strategies
Work Model

What You Must Have to Be Considered
  • 10+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry
    , in either consulting or industry leadership roles
  • 5+ years of experience with a management consulting firm
    , leading client-facing transformation engagements
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale P&C core system transformations
    , including Guidewire and/or Duck Creek implementations
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical and business concepts to executive, business, and IT audiences
  • Bachelor’s degree required;
    Master’s degree in Business or Management preferred

  • Deep expertise in claims transformation and end-to-end P&C insurance operations
  • A consultative leadership style with the ability to build credibility quickly with senior clients and internal stakeholders
  • Experience managing ambiguity, driving results under pressure, and leading high-performing consulting teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%, based on client and project needs
Compensation
  • $165,000 – $194,000
    , depending on experience and qualifications
  • This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program
    , based on performance and subject to the terms of applicable plans
