Network Automation Application Developer - Duration: 6+ Months

This is no small network; our Data Center networks currently have 50,000+ server connections on 1,000+ core network devices, about 20,000 customer premise routers. On any given day, you will utilize technologies such as MPLS, Multicast, Ethernet, Multi-Chassis LAG and whatever else necessary. We work in small teams and as a company pride ourselves on being entrepreneurial, agile and responsive. We adapt to changes and the problems we face are constantly evolving.
ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities are reflected in the required qualifications and the above overview. The role focuses on network automation development and related scripting in a Linux/UNIX environment.
Qualifications- 3+ years of experience programming in Python/Perl, including object-oriented Perl, module design and DBI
- Proficiency in multi-threaded, asynchronous programming
- Familiarity with shell scripting languages
- Background in MySQL databases
- Experience working in a Linux or UNIX environment
- Knowledge of programming in C/C++
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, routing and switching concepts
