Princeton Orthopaedic Associates is seeking a dedicated and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer support and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves scheduling, data entry, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing excellent customer service
- Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations
- Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information
- Handle emails, and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
- Collect patient co-pays and patient balances
- Protect patients' rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care coordination
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
- Proven experience in a front desk or administrative role within a medical office setting is preferred
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing files and records
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- A team player who can collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care experiences
- A commitment to providing excellent patient service and support
- Ability to travel to different offices if and when needed
Ortho
NJ, LLC is required by New Jersey law to disclose the compensation range for this position. The hiring range for this role is $15.50 – $24.00 per hour. Compensation is determined based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and geographic location. Certain roles may also be eligible for additional compensation, such as bonuses or incentive pay, as well as benefits.
