Job DetailsLocation: Princeton House Behavioral Health (905 Herrontown Road, Princeton, NJ)
Hours: Part Time – 6am–2:30pm and 10am–7:30pm, including weekends
- Transport food carts and other equipment to designated areas of the facility in a courteous and professional manner following departmental procedures.
- Deliver par stock supplies to identified units and clean as per department policy and procedures.
- Operate dish machine, three-compartment pot washing, clean dish machine, pot sinks, and assigned kitchen equipment per department procedures. Measure and monitor dish and pot machine temperatures, complete and document sanitizer solution and temperature logs.
- Protect patient confidential information by disposing tray tickets in a confidential trash bin.
- Transport and stock patient tray supplies and utensils to tray line prior to service times and restock as necessary.
- Clean and maintain chemical closet, trash & linen room in a clean and orderly manner. Mop floors, clean food contact and non-contact surfaces, and perform high dusting and other cleaning tasks as assigned.
- Complete all daily, weekly, monthly and special cleaning assignments.
- Follow all departmental policies regarding food safety, infection prevention, employee hygiene, hazardous material and waste disposal processes.
- Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and departmental sanitation procedures.
- Identify and utilize chemicals following directions recommended by manufacturer and per safety data sheets.
- Adhere to Emergency Preparedness Program and participate in disaster drills, as appropriate. Participate in Life Safety Program and fire drills as appropriate.
- Participate in departmental meetings and staff development programs as appropriate.
- Exhibit a pleasant and cheerful demeanor and maintain a helpful approach towards employees, physicians, patients and visitors.
- Wear at shoulder level and comply with department uniform standards.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary working environment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
$17.38 – $23.98 per hour, depending on experience and education.
