We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent BAS (Building Automation Systems) Programmer to join our dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that combines the technical aspects of BAS programming with the hands-on practicality of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions for our commercial and industrial clients, with a focus on HVAC systems.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and maintain BAS programs for commercial and industrial projects, focusing on HVAC systems.
2. Collaborate with project teams to understand client needs and design appropriate automation solutions.
3. Conduct on-site programming and system testing to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to BAS programs, working closely with the technical team.
5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Distech controls and other relevant technologies.
6. Provide technical support and training to team members and clients.
7. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations.
8. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in BAS programming, preferably in the commercial and industrial sectors.
2. Proficiency in Distech controls and programming is highly desirable.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
4. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
5. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
