The Engineering Rotational Program at Integra Life Sciences is a two-year, structured program offering a series of rotations every 8 months. Throughout the program, participants will rotate across various engineering functions, including product development, manufacturing, research and development (R&D), and quality assurance. This exposure will provide a deep understanding of the product lifecycle, regulatory requirements, and the opportunity to be part of a rotational cohort.
By the end of the program, participants will be equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the medical device industry.
- Participate in a series of rotational assignments every 8 months across engineering functions such as product development, manufacturing, research and development (R&D), and quality assurance.
- Engage in the testing, validation, and optimization of products to meet regulatory standards and improve patient outcomes.
- Assist in the development and documentation of engineering processes and solutions.
- Contribute to project planning, execution, and reporting, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges and leverage critical thinking skills to solve problems.
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, contributing ideas for innovation and process optimization.
- Engage in mentorship and training opportunities, receiving feedback and coaching from senior engineers and leaders.
- Present project findings, progress reports, and technical recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial, or related fields).
- Minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively.
- Self‑motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow within the medical device industry.
- Previous internship or academic project experience in engineering (preferably related to medical technology).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Willingness to relocate between U.S. sites for rotational assignments across various departments.
- Knowledge or experience in medical device regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with the FDA and ISO 13485 standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team‑oriented mindset.
- Involvement in engineering‑related student organizations, internships, or research projects.

Salary Pay Range: $62,100.00 - $85,100.00 USD
Employees may be eligible for bonus, commission, equity or other variable compensation.
