A growing bioengineering institute is seeking a Research Operations Manager to support interdisciplinary research and education at the intersection of engineering and the life sciences. This role partners closely with faculty and staff to build, launch, and optimize shared research and teaching facilities, including advanced laboratories and core instrumentation.
What you’ll do- Support the setup and day-to-day operations of shared research and teaching labs
- Help establish and manage core facilities and specialized equipment
- Coordinate training, maintenance, and efficient use of instrumentation
- Collaborate with faculty to integrate research infrastructure with academic programs
- Contribute to strategic planning and future facility expansion
- PhD in Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- Experience supporting research and educational infrastructure in an academic or research setting
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Ability to work across disciplines and support a growing research community
- On-site, full-time academic research environment
- Salary range: $90,000–$120,000, commensurate with experience
