About the Role:

Our client, an innovative biopharmaceutical organization based in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Medical Director or Senior Medical Director to provide scientific, strategic, and clinical leadership across key development programs.

This individual will play a critical role in shaping clinical strategy, driving study execution, and supporting cross-functional teams to advance therapies that address significant unmet needs.

• Lead the medical and scientific strategy for assigned clinical programs within Oncology, Rare Disease, or Immunology.
• Provide medical oversight for clinical trials, ensuring scientific rigor, safety, and high-quality execution.
• Serve as the medical expert supporting protocol design, clinical study development, data interpretation, and regulatory submissions.
• Represent the clinical development function in internal and external meetings, including interactions with investigators, advisory boards, and regulatory bodies.
• Contribute to the development of clinical development plans, target product profiles, and overall program strategy.
• Provide medical monitoring and support during ongoing clinical studies.
• Mentor and support clinical team members as needed.

• MD (Medical Doctor) required; physician background is essential.
• Clinical Development experience within Oncology, Rare Disease, or Immunology.
• Demonstrated experience providing medical oversight of clinical trials.
• Strong understanding of drug development processes, study design, and regulatory expectations.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Strategic, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience working within a CRO (Contract Research Organization) is a strong plus.
• Prior industry experience as a Medical Director or Senior Medical Director within biotech or pharma.
