Live Chat Support Representative
Wheelerschools is seeking a highly motivated and customer‑oriented individual to join our team as a Live Chat Support Representative. As a Live Chat Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to our students, parents, and staff through our online chat platform.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to incoming chats from students, parents, and staff in a timely and professional manner
- Address and resolve any technical issues or concerns raised by chat users
- Provide guidance and support to chat users on navigating our online platforms and tools
- Proactively reach out to chat users to ensure their needs are being met and offer assistance when needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of chat conversations and follow‑up actions
- Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
- Continuously improve and update chat scripts and resources to enhance the chat user experience
- Stay up‑to‑date with our school's policies, procedures, and programs to effectively assist chat users
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
- 1‑2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a chat or online support role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
- Proficient in using online chat platforms and basic computer skills
- Familiarity with educational technology and tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This is a full‑time position, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm. You will be required to work on‑site at our school location. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
