Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 9am‑5pm.

Position:
Live Chat Support Representative

Wheelerschools is seeking a highly motivated and customer‑oriented individual to join our team as a Live Chat Support Representative. As a Live Chat Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to our students, parents, and staff through our online chat platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming chats from students, parents, and staff in a timely and professional manner
  • Address and resolve any technical issues or concerns raised by chat users
  • Provide guidance and support to chat users on navigating our online platforms and tools
  • Proactively reach out to chat users to ensure their needs are being met and offer assistance when needed
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of chat conversations and follow‑up actions
  • Collaborate with other departments to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues
  • Continuously improve and update chat scripts and resources to enhance the chat user experience
  • Stay up‑to‑date with our school's policies, procedures, and programs to effectively assist chat users
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college education preferred
  • 1‑2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a chat or online support role
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent problem‑solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment
  • Proficient in using online chat platforms and basic computer skills
  • Familiarity with educational technology and tools is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a full‑time position, working 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm. You will be required to work on‑site at our school location. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent role based on performance and business needs.
