We are seeking a high-performing New Business Account Executive to play a pivotal role in continuing our growth trajectory for our SaaS platform serving life sciences organizations, including biotech, pharmaceutical, and medical device. This role is responsible for managing complex B2B sales cycles, IT and business stakeholders, and closing enterprise-level deals in regulated environments. We’re seeking a self-motivated individual who thrives on solving business challenges, can communicate effectively about products and outcomes, and wants to explore AI-powered solutions.

This role is designed for an experienced AE who is comfortable operating in environments where structure is still taking shape and is motivated by the opportunity to help create it. Our go-to-market strategy is marketing-led and inbound-first, and this role focuses on converting inbound interest into closed-won revenue through strong discovery, thoughtful deal management, and disciplined execution. You’ll work closely with Sales Development, Marketing, and cross‑functional stakeholders while helping define how opportunities are qualified, progressed, and forecasted as the business grows.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within life sciences organizations
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution
  • Build trusted relationships with business, technical, and executive stakeholders (e.g., Manufacturing, QA, IT, Procurement)
  • Plan for tailored product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs
  • Understand customer challenges related to R&D, clinical development, manufacturing, and regulatory compliance. Propose appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Product, and Consulting teams to deliver value‑driven solutions
  • Navigate complex procurement processes and long sales cycles
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and enterprise agreements
  • Maintain accurate forecasts and pipeline data in CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Stay current on life sciences trends, regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, FDA, EMA), and competitive landscape
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, preferably in life sciences or regulated industries
  • Proven success managing mid‑market or enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong ability to communicate technical and scientific concepts to diverse audiences
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with cross‑functional buying committees
  • Experience selling solutions related to R&D, clinical trials, data management, quality, or compliance
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, ISO standards)
