Schedule and Pay:

1 st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:15 PM ;
Friday & Saturday OT required as needed

Salary Grade B

$18.50 - $20.90

Job Summary:

The Panel Door Sander/Puttier is responsible for performing basic processes in the fabrication of panel doors.

Job Duties:

• Applies putty, wood putty, or lacquer sticks to panel door surface to fill imperfections.
• Smooths and sands panel door surface for finishing.
• Inspects surface of product for defects such as holes, cracks and indentations using product specifications.
• Determines type of sanding equipment and sand paper grit to be used on panel door according to product, wood specie, finish, specifications and door style.
• Determines proper putty to use per wood specie.
• Follows safety procedures and maintains work as well as equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
