Responsibilities
  • Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and blueprints to understand the scope of work and to determine the cost, materials, and labor required for the project.
  • Preparing detailed cost estimates and bids for EHV transmission line projects, ensuring all costs are accurately accounted for.
  • Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to gather detailed information about a project.
  • Analyzing different suppliers and contractors to get the best cost‑effective deals.
  • Using Microsoft Office tools to prepare reports and presentations, and to track and manage project costs.
    • Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical estimating, specifically in the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with EHV transmission lines, electrical transmission, and transmission line construction.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Project.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills, with a strong attention to detail.
