Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Sit‑down Forklift Operator in Princeton, Kentucky — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay $18.00 per hour
• Shift premium $1.00 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday 2:30 pm–10:30 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• One year or more related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
• Valid forklift operator license
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Ability to work in a diverse work environment
• Highly thorough and dependable
• Good attendance record
• Minimal supervision needed
• High initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 35 lb
• Can stand for long periods
• Follows health and safety methods
• Flexible schedule on various shifts
• Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.)
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift hour of production
• Perform other duties as assigned
