The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE), Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE), Caldwell County Area Technology Center (ATC) in Princeton, Kentucky has an opening for a Kentucky Tech Automotive Technology Instructor. This position is advertised as part of KRS Chapter 156 OCTE for employment through the Office of Career and Technical Education. It is not subject to the provisions of KRS 18A for classified or unclassified service.
Duties And Responsibilities- Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
- Performs other duties as required.
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System. Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.

Personal ASE certifications in the areas the program is certified in. An applicant can be hired without the needed personal certifications but must take and pass the needed ASE tests at the next available testing period. If hired April through September, must take and pass the needed tests during the November testing period. If hired October through March, must take and pass the needed tests during the May testing period.
