The Welder and Fabricator-Maintenance Technician position provides support to the production line. This position also involves preventative and corrective maintenance in the manufacturing environment. Additional employer-provided training, certifications, and onboarding time are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Using hand and air tools
- Navigating heavy equipment
- Conducting basic problem-solving
- Following customer safety and quality requirements
- Analyzing and repairing both mechanical and electrical equipment quickly
- Understanding written job instructions
- Using mechanical and/or electrical schematics, sketches, manuals, specifications, and written and oral instructions to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Completing documentation of repair details as directed
- All other duties as assigned by Leadec site management

Position, Environment & Physical Requirements:
The job requires lots of walking. The employee is required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces for 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to work in a wet and closed environment.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Upper body strength is a plus.
- Adhere to safety protocols
- Use proper personal protective equipment, i.e., hard hat, hearing protection, steel toe shoes, safety glasses, foot/shin protectors, and any additional protective gear required for the tasks
- Completion of Standard Training Program, or certified on knowledge and capabilities from previous training/experience
