Retail Scan Associate; Princeton, IL

Job Summary

This permanent, part‑time Retail Scan Associate position involves visiting a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve sales performance for the product and retailer.

Available workdays:
Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday – Grocery Store, Princeton, IL;
Wednesday or Thursday – Convenience Store, Peru, IL;
Monday–Friday (for other assignments). Stores include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and other national chains.

The position estimates 9–13 hours per week, depending on store size and project requirements. You will perform display scanning throughout the store weekly, conduct custom projects as requested, and provide quantity details for about 45% of scanned products. Adhering to weekly deadlines is essential.

• Minimum age 18 with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to remain on your feet for long periods and reach 6 feet.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Repeated hand, wrist, arm, and leg movements for prolonged periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Deadline‑driven self‑starter.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi access.
• Tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
