Career Opportunity: Intensive Youth Social Worker
Location: Burns Lake, B.C.
Employment Type: Full-Time – 35 Hours Per Week

Responsibilities- Provide weekly face to face contact with youth;
- Provide one-on-one, strength-based holistic and culturally relevant services to children and youth on assigned caseload;
- Conducts a needs-based assessment with the guardian and care team;
- Support cultural planning and learning and facilitate healthy relations and contact with family and community.
The Role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Psychology or Education or significant progress towards obtaining
- Minimum two (2) years’ experience working in a social service setting
- Experience working in a leadership capacity with youth-at-risk
- Non-violent crisis intervention training
- Occupational First Aid Level 1
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $38.58 to $49.97 per hour. Placement within the wage range is dependent on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience and internal equity.
