* Job Description:

**** Major Job Functions
*** Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in a shop environment.

Experience with forestry, construction, mining and general line equipment is beneficial
* Interface with customers, products and sales support
* Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
* Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed.
* Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
* Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements
* Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment  Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement  
** Specific Skills & Experience
*** Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (Red Seal preferred)
* Clean Drivers’ Abstract (5 yr)
* Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems
* Experience with construction, forestry and mining equipment is an asset
* Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be beneficial
* Previous gas engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset
** Important Details:
*** Position is based out of our Prince George facility on a 7x7 Shift Rotation (Wednesday-Tuesday)
* ** Union Membership:
** You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
