The Opportunity:
The Acute Withdrawal Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the 10-bed acute care withdrawal management unit.
Responsibilities
Triage and prioritize the day-to-day operations of the withdrawal management team and facility by organizing unit operations and procedures and controlling correspondence.
Ensure all health records are updated and approved.
Oversee and coordinate the delivery of care for patients by planning, developing, and implementing programs, and scheduling nursing and other allied health service staff.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality services and effective utilization of resources to meet operational needs.

What You Will Bring To
The Role
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
British Columbia Centre on Substance Use (BCCSU) - Provincial Opioid Addictions Treatment Support Program (POATSP) for RN/RPN prescribing Opioid Agonist Therapy, or willingness to obtain.
CPR (level
C).
RN First Call or Remote Certified practice, or willingness to obtain.

Salary & Benefits
Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $59.32 to $76.82 per hour. Placement within the range depends on knowledge, skills, experience and other factors.
Total Rewards: Base salary plus an excellent compensation package including generous time off options, Municipal Pension Plan (defined benefit with an employer contribution of 9.31% after eligibility period), extended health and dental benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
