LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN), LONG-TERM CARE
We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Parkside Care Home.
Works within the context of a client and family centered care model and in accordance with the standards, scope and code of ethics as outlined by BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and vision and values of the Northern Health. Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or designate, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, the Licensed Practical Nurse applies Nursing Process, performs assessments, plans, provides nursing care, and may provide direction to other staff.

Days, Evenings, 06:30 to 14:30, 14:30 to 22:30 (rotating)
Parkside Intermediate Care Home is a one storey facility that houses 58 residents in single occupancy rooms; each room has its own washroom. There are three separate wings, the 300 and 400 wing house 22 rooms each and the 200 wing has 14 rooms. At the end of the 300 and 400 wing there is a private sitting area for residents/family.
Recreation Therapy is provided on site, which provides activities such as hymn-sing, school visits with the elderly, choral groups.
