Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication to delivering compassionate patient care to join our team ns Hospital.

Under the direction of the Unit/Program Manager or designate and in collaboration as a member of a multidisciplinary team, performs assessments, plans and provides personal care, and performs nursing procedures. The LPN functions in accordance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the BC College of Nurses and Midwives, and according to agency operating policies, standards, and unit-specific protocols.

Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Days, Nights - 07:30 to 19:30, 19:30 to 07:30, rotating

New Wage: As of April 1, 2024, the new wage is: $32.84 - $41.35/hour

St. Johns Hospital is a 21-bed acute-care facility serving Vanderhoof, Saik’uz First Nation, and surrounding communities. It offers 24/7 emergency and OR capabilities and is a teaching hospital for the University of Northern BC. Attached to the hospital is Stuart Nechako Manor with 45 long-term care beds.

Vanderhoof has a population of 4,500 (2021). Nestled in the Nechako Valley on the banks of the Nechako River, it offers a range of outdoor activities and a close-knit community experience.
