DescriptionIntegris, a Division of Coastal Community Credit Union, is looking for an individual to work as Associate Vice President (AVP), Personal Banking, on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will work out of our Corporate Office in Prince George.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP), Personal Banking, the AVP, Personal Banking provides strategic leadership to drive the growth, performance, and long-term success of the Personal Banking division. This role leads retail-driven initiatives and campaigns, supports the development and execution of sales standards, and partners closely with Branch Management teams to deliver strong member experience, employee engagement, and financial results.
The AVP also contributes to the strategic direction of the division while ensuring operational excellence, risk management, and alignment with the Credit Union’s vision and values.
Career Band Range (Annual Salary): $92,700.00 to $ CAD

- Assists the SVP, Personal Banking with developing and delivering corporate strategies, policies, and annual operating plans that align with the Credit Union’s strategy, vision, and values.
- Leads divisional planning, budgeting, and resourcing to support smooth day-to-day operations.
- Provides oversight and support for retail projects, corporate initiatives, committee work, and support consistent member experiences across the division.
- Leads and supports Branch Management teams through coaching, development, and building a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Supports the SVP, Personal Banking in communicating strategic decisions and helping Branch Managers turn direction into practical, branch-level action.
- Oversees workforce planning activities, including performance management, succession planning, and retention.
- Maintains credit adjudication authority within assigned lending limits.
- Supports the achievement of financial and growth goals through effective sales leadership, service initiatives, and relationship management.
- Leads cross-divisional sales and referral initiatives with Commercial, Insurance, and Wealth to support growth and new member acquisition.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with community and business leaders to strengthen the Credit Union’s local presence.
- May provide retail input into labour relations and bargaining discussions, as needed.
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or diploma in a related discipline (e.g. Commerce and Business Administration) requiring 3‑4 years of full-time study or equivalent (advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum seven (7) years of leadership experience in a financial services environment, including managing loan and deposit portfolios, leading teams, and supporting business growth.
- Minimum seven (7) years of management experience in retail banking, with exposure to commercial, wealth, and/or insurance, considered an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of personal and business lending, deposit products, branch operations, and credit union services.
- Thorough understanding of the competitive financial services landscape, industry trends, and the communities we serve.
- Proven ability to set directions, lead and motivate teams, and adapt to changing member needs and expectations.
