Position: REGIONAL MANAGER, VOLUNTEER RESOURCES
Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a champion with significant management and leadership experience to join our Volunteer Resources department.

As part of the Human Resources Leadership team, the Regional Manager, Volunteer Resources is responsible for the leadership, development, integration and administration of Volunteer Resources across Northern Health (NH) sites. Sets volunteer program strategic direction and develops, maintains, and implements systems for effective utilization of volunteers. Serves as the key Volunteer Resources liaison and/or representative for other Volunteer Resources leadership, including organizational partners, external government agencies, and others involved in volunteer resource opportunities.

Starting salary will be approximately from $88,990 to $111,237 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.

Qualfications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Health Administration or Business Administration. Certificate in Volunteer Management from a recognized program, and a minimum plus five (5) to seven (7) years’ recent, related experience in a supervisory capacity within a volunteer organization or department, preferably within the health care field.

• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills and Abilities:

• Experience as a volunteer

• Demonstrated leadership and resource management skills, including ability to build a team environment, inspire and direct teams

• Effective collaboration and engagement with internal and external stakeholders to develop, manage and evaluate program/services within a complex environment
