Position Summary
Are you interested in an opportunity to grow professionally within a positive and progressive culture? Northern Health is seeking a Service Support Analyst to join our Information & Technology Services department.
Utilizing ITIL best practices, the Service Support Analyst position is responsible for providing technical support services. Working with both internal and external parties in support of clients and technologies; by analyzing, and diagnosing problems, and formulating solutions requiring considerable knowledge of both the technology and end user environment. Guide clients in the appropriate selection and use of technology to meet their evolving needs.
Responsible for the full lifecycle of associated hardware and software in the areas of;
Unified Communications (UC) including wired rooms and audio/visual equipment, Compute Devices and associated Peripherals, Output Management, and Application Integration across both physical and virtual environments. This position will provide service to various locations, periodic travel will be required to service and refresh on site equipment within the Health Authority.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00
Qualifications- Grade 12.
- Graduation from a recognized two (2) year computer system technology diploma program, plus
- three (3) years recent related experience
- or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License.
- Ability to type.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
