The Director, Clinical Operations is a key leadership role in Prince George Health Services. Working in cooperation and collaboration with various peer leaders within the University Hospital of Northern BC (UHNBC) and across Northern Health (NH), this position is responsible and accountable for leading specific and delegated responsibilities in planning, delivery and evaluation of programs and services with the goal of ensuring that services are grounded in the principles of patient and family‑centered care and delivered and implemented using evidence and innovation to meet the needs of our northern and rural populations.
The Director is a key role model for UHNBC's development as a core part of the NH rural and northern network of services that includes integrated primary care and community services, long‑term care and a network of hospitals. The Director’s responsibilities include the integration and coordination of various resources, services and departments to carry out these activities. The Director is a champion for UHNBC’s role as a teaching hospital, helping to bring together research, teaching and practice that will strengthen services and establish NH as a centre of excellence.
Starting salary will be approximately from $141,146 to $176,433 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
