YMCA Camp Kanannaq is located on Nadsilnich (West) Lake, a 20 minutes drive from Prince George, BC. It is situated on 200 acres of beautiful forested lakefront property. During July and August, Camp Kanannaq offers day camp programs for youth ages 5-17, with one week camps for youth ages 5-15, and two and three week leadership development programs.
In the spring and fall, Camp Kanannaq offers day and overnight Outdoor Education programs.
Camp Kanannaq operates as a day camp, and does not offer accommodation to staff during regular programming. Successful Camp Kanannaq staff are self-motivated individuals whose ambition is to help children and youth develop in an outdoor camp setting, who are ready to work hard outdoors in all conditions, and who believe in 5-star customer service for all participants.
