2026 - Casual Administrative Assistant (BL)
School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Administrative Assistants to support schools in the Burns Lake area, including Granisle, Grassy Plains, Decker Lake, and Francois Lake. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.
Responsibilities
- Filing, photocopying, and record keeping
- Typing correspondence, reports, and newsletters
- Managing reception duties and handling confidential information
- Sending/receiving faxes and general office communication
- Providing basic bookkeeping support
Qualifications
- Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate)
- Completion of an Applied Business Technology program or Administrative Assistant Certificate
- Minimum of 1 year of recent, relevant office experience (school setting preferred)
- WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures
