Job Title: Resource Team Nursing Program – Administrative Assistant
Salary: $59,140 – $63,837 per year (pay range explained below)
Contract: Casual
Hours: Casual - full time (fully in‑office position)
Location: Lax Kw’Alaams (must live in Lax Kw'Alaams)
Bargaining Unit: PSAC BCFNHA Group (The Public Service Alliance of Canada)
AboutThe Role
As Administrative Assistant, you will provide a variety of administrative support services under the supervision of a Nurse in Charge or Community Health Nurse. Duties include reception and general information services to First Nations clients, partners, and communities, and traveling to support various rural and remote communities in the Northern region of BC.
About You- Grade 12, including completion of one year of post‑secondary education in Business or Office Administration, plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid BC Driver’s License.
- One year of related experience.
- Basic knowledge of First Nations history, culture and etiquette.

The pay range is the minimum (Step
1) and maximum (highest Step) annual base salary based on full‑time equivalent hours. Internal employee compensation will be determined as per the FNHA Employee Total Compensation Policy.
