Intermediate Accountant - Public Practice
PMT Chartered Professional Accountants LLP is seeking an energetic Intermediate Accountant with strong communication and multi-tasking skills to join our busy Quesnel office. - CPA designation or in‑progress
- Minimum 3 years public accounting experience
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with ASPE and ASNPO
- Client‑focused with strong relationship‑building skills
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Experience with accounting and tax software (Caseware and/or Tax Cycle is an asset)
- Prepare working paper files and financial statements for assurance and compilation engagements
- Prepare corporate, trust, and personal tax returns
- Support clients with bookkeeping and ad‑hoc questions, communicating clearly
- Contribute to special projects
- Communicate with CRA on tax matters
Monday to Friday – 7.5 hours/day
