The City of Prince Albert is accepting applications for a number of permanent full time Lifeguard positions. The Permanent Lifeguard is responsible for supervision and leadership of casual aquatic staff and is responsible for the overall Aquatics Facility when assigned. Permanent Lifeguards are also responsible for instructing and overseeing classes, lesson planning, arranging for student examinations and examining classes. Shifts may include day, evenings and weekends.

The starting salary for this position is $47,844 per year. The City also offers a Group Benefit plan and Defined Benefit Pension Plan.

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• 18 years of age
• Two years related work experience or supervisory experience
• Successfully completes annual respirator fit testing
• Aquatic Supervisor Training
• Certified Pool Operator Training
• CPR-HCP or BLS (valid within one year)
• Lifesaving Instructor and Swim for Life Instructor
• Lifesaving Sport Coach Level 1
• Naloxone Training
• National Lifeguard Pool
