The Ministry of Social Services Community Living Service Delivery branch is seeking an empathetic Community Services Worker for the North Service Area in Prince Albert. CLSD supports individuals with intellectual disabilities by helping them access community-based services and live as independently as possible. In this role, you will manage a caseload, complete assessments, develop program plans, provide counselling, make referrals, support crisis intervention, and monitor residential and day program services.

You will also consult with community partners, review policies and legislation, and promote community inclusion.
Success in this role requires strong interviewing and assessment skills, the ability to remain calm in stressful situations, and a respectful approach when working with diverse clients. You must understand social work principles, multicultural perspectives especially First Nations and Mtisand the impact of poverty and systemic issues. You will interpret and apply legislation such as the Saskatchewan Assistance Act and related income support programs.
A Bachelor of Social Work or Indigenous Social Work and related experience are required, along with a valid drivers license for travel. The work involves office tasks, virtual communication, and inperson client interaction, requiring professionalism, compassion, and effective time management.
