Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of full-time Wine, Spirits, and Beer Assistant Team Leader onsite at our Convenience Store/Gas Bar in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan
. This position will supervise team members, maintain inventory and champion Asset Protection and Safety Management in the Wine, Spirits and Beer section encompassing sales of approximately $1.7 million.

• Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co‑operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Support and lead a high‑performance Wine, Spirits and Beer (WSB) team that delivers on budgeted targets by maximizing operational efficiency.
• Supervise and motivate team members to meet productivity and customer experience standards.
• Assist the WSB department is displaying, stocking, and rotating merchandise as per company policy and standard with a focus on maintaining image and brand standards.
• Assist in cooler and warehouse organization, including storage, cleanliness, and product accessibility.
• Ensure inventories are managed and protected in compliance with management standards and practices to maintain high levels of accuracy and minimal loss.
• Provide superior leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, performance management and feedback.
• Train team members on WSB knowledge, storage protocols, and seasonal offerings.
• Become familiar with and adhere to Lake Country Co‑op policies such as selling of age restricted items and all government regulations relating to tobacco, lottery, liquor, and fireworks.
• Oversee the completion of daily reports, reconciliations, and purchases.
• Assist in overseeing Gas Bar and C‑Store operations as required.
• Act as an internal resource for staff and management on all related WSB inquiries.
• Champion the Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, procedures.
• Perform minor repairs to assets as required.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Reporting to the Wine, Spirits, and Beer Team Leader you will collaborate closely with the C‑Store Team Leaders and team members to ensure smooth daily operations and to meet sales targets. Supporting the sales teams with your WSB expertise, you will help them confidently assist customers and drive sales.
