This position promotes the growth and development of First Nations employment by providing employees with services and referrals that support their engagement and productivity at work.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting employees by navigating community resources. Developing, implementing and evaluating SIGA's Wellbeing Program and policies. Developing communications and training to all employees on health and wellness initiatives. Preparing regular reports on program activities, usage, and issues. Assisting with coordination of disability management and return to work activities as requested. Working with the Manager of Health & Safety and the Corporate Safety Consultant to ensure consistent delivery of SIGA's health and wellness initiatives.
Conducting oneself with the highest integrity and professionalism at all times, to ensure employees receive confidential, non-judgmental, and appropriate support. Participating in other projects and activities as required, in support of employee health and wellness.
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in social work, sociology, psychology or other related discipline. Combination of related experience and training may be considered. Minimum 2 years previous experience with in Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and wellness programs.
