Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full-Time Pharmacist at our Food Store Pharmacy location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. We are currently seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team and help deliver exceptional pharmaceutical care in a friendly, customer-focused environment. What You Will Do
  • Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co‑operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members’ lives, with a strong customer focused approach.
  • Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
  • Partner with our committed community pharmacy team to provide a full range of pharmacy services.
  • Embrace opportunities to utilize advanced scope of practice.
  • Ensure patient safety through accurate prescription verification, appropriate medication use, and effective patient counseling.
  • Promote quality improvement by identifying and addressing medication errors, workflow inefficiencies, and opportunities to enhance pharmacy services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide education to clients and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prescription processing, dispensing, verification, and required record keeping.
  • Compound in accordance with NAPRA guidelines.
  • Exercise professional judgement and practice within federal, and provincial, legal and regulatory requirements, Pharmacist Code of Conduct, NAPRA standards of practice and Lake Country Co‑op policies.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to pharmacy technicians and assistants.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and control of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
  • Adhere to and enforce the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, and training requirements.

Reporting to the Pharmacy Team Leader, you will collaborate with a skilled pharmacy team to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality patient care. Together, you will ensure that every customer receives accurate prescriptions, trusted guidance, and a positive experience.
