Reporting directly to the Fabrication Supervisor, we are currently seeking a Metal Fabricator for our night shift based at our Price, Utah facility.

Afternoon/Night Shift – 3 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Monday‑Thursday. Four‑day work week offers more time for personal pursuits while earning competitive pay.
Position SummaryFabricate, lay out, position, align, fit parts and assemble structural metal products such as frameworks, shells, and metal parts using tools including a welder, cutting torch, grinder, brake press, and other equipment.
Essential Functions Layout- Review and analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout.
- Understand layout and plan sequence of operations to maximize efficiency in terms of time, quality, quantity, resources, and cost.
- Verify conformance of work pieces to specifications using squares, rulers, and measuring tapes.
- Understand various weld form symbols on blueprints and drawings.
- Design and construct templates and fixtures.
- Position, align, fit, and weld material pieces to AWS specifications.
- Weld using MIG welder and pulse process in flat, vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions.
- Tack up structures to meet tolerances and specifications.
- Repair products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts using cutting torches, straightening presses, and hand tools.
- Remove high spots and cut bevels using hand files, portable grinders, and cutting torches.
- Hammer, chip, and grind work pieces; bend and straighten metal.
- Operate MIG welder, shear and break press, punch press.
- Use overhead crane, forklift, and hoists to assist in fabrication, assembly, and material handling.
- Operate grinders, cutting torches, drills, and miscellaneous hand tools.
- Care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure proper storage at shift end.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance; arrive on time.

- Install electrical components in pre‑cut panels and wire as needed.
- Wash, prime, and paint parts for electrical units.

Skills and Abilities
- High School Diploma or GED plus 2 years welding/fabrication experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency in MIG welding and ability to discern correct welding applications.
