Parkdale Health & Rehab - Price, UT Parkdale Health and Rehab is actively hiring a Part-Time Line/Prep Cook-Nursing Home Aide to join our skilled nursing facility team.

Line/Prep Cook-Nursing Home Aide (Part-Time)

• Responsible for ongoing meal production and timely meal service
• Test and assist with new recipes
• Clean the kitchen; put away and organize food deliveries
• Assist with kitchen inspections as needed to ensure the food service production area is safe and sanitary
• Inspect storage areas regularly for proper temperatures, cleanliness, and organization
• Willing to provide direction to cook-aides and dish-aides as needed
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, respectful care that promotes resident dignity and comfort
• Assist nursing staff with routine resident care tasks as directed
• Observe and report changes in residents  physical condition or behavior to nursing staff
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and orderly resident environment
• Support residents during meals, activities, and transfers as needed
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines

• One year of cooking experience in a high-volume environment preferred
• Food Handler s Permit required
• High school diploma
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude with prompt, efficient, and courteous service
• Passion to learn and grow within the cooking profession
• Previous caregiving or nursing aide experience preferred (training provided if applicable)
• Ability to work part-time hours, including weekends or holidays as needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude
• Ability to follow care plans and facility guidelines
