Our client is a well respected distributor, services the aluminium industry. We are on the hunt for an exceptional logistics administrator for their warehouse based in Silverton, Pretoria.

• Transporter bookings for customers or suppliers collection and paperwork management.
• Local Outbound Logistics
  • Capture transport details on Excel for purchase order import into Umbrella.
  • Transporter quotations per order + Warehouse Supervisor sign off.
  • Owner driver vehicle checks, route building.
  • Invoice transporters on Umbrella.
  • Confirmation all stock out for delivery.
  • Creating waybill for transporters.
  • Trace and compare actual vs planned delivery times and onward exception management notification to sales team and liaison with transporters.
  • Maximum consolidation of orders whilst balancing delivery timeline requirements.
• Other
  • Proven skills in both administration and logistics, incl - working proficiency with an ERP and Microsoft suite.
  • Ability to absorb full accountability for the totality of the transport function - detail oriented, time pressured, commercially proficient, service oriented, proactive and an adept communicator.

• ERP experience
• MSExcel experience
• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
• Diligent, accountable and high energy level
• 4 - 6 years experience in a busy logistics department
• Reside in the Pretoria region
• Incentive policy: 13 th and 14 th cheques included in December pay run and dependent upon Company and personal performance as measured vs specific KPIs
• Pension contribution from Company 8% (tax free and in addition to salary)
